At Teaching Personnel we are looking for a teaching assistant to join our team of support staff for the Chorlton area. For this role you will be working in schools in South Manchester giving support to students on a 1:1 basis allowing them to progress and further their education. We offer a wide array of roles for support roles such as teaching assistant, supply teacher, and SEN teacher, when you join Teaching Personnel you have the option for which roles you want to be placed into.

  • Provide support to students on a 1:1 basis
  • Assist in facilitating learning activities
  • Help students progress in their education
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff
  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children or young adults
  • Strong communication skills
  • Patience and empathy
  • Ability to work well in a team

This role involves working in school settings, following school hours and term dates. Part-Time hours with flexibility may be required based on school needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
