Key Responsibilities:
*
Design and implement stimulating Mathematics lessons that cater to a wide range of abilities and needs.
*
Utilise specialized teaching strategies and tools to promote understanding and retention of mathematical concepts.
*
Assess and evaluate students' progress continuously and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
*
Collaborate with other educational staff to integrate Mathematics with other disciplines and support areas.
*
Engage with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and receive feedback to enhance teaching practices.
*
Contribute to the development of the school's Mathematics curriculum and participate in departmental activities.
*
Maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence in Mathematics.

Requirements:
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) ideally with a specialization in Mathematics.
*
Proven UK experience in teaching Mathematics to students with SEN, particularly at the secondary education level.
*
Strong understanding of the strategies needed to teach students with diverse learning needs, including ASD, ADHD, and dyscalculia.
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
*
Ability to employ innovative teaching aids and digital tools to enhance learning experiences.
*
Commitment to ongoing professional development in both subject-specific areas and SEN methodologies.
*
Enhanced DBS check clearance.
