Currently recruiting a temp to perm School Cleaner to join an outstanding SEND School located in the London Borough of Bromley. You will be working 10 hours a week Monday to Friday 4pm-6pm. This School Cleaner post is to start with immediate effect.
The successful School Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in the school, ensuring that all areas are kept to a high standard of cleanliness. Additionally ensuring high standards of cleaning within the classrooms, toilets, hallways and reception area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out cleaning tasks in line with the school's cleaning schedule.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and guidelines.
- Handle and store cleaning materials in accordance with COSHH regulations.
- Use equipment such as hoovers and floor polishers to clean classrooms, corridors, and other areas of the school.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate person.
- Ensure that all areas are cleaned to a high standard, paying particular attention to SEND classrooms.
- Work as part of a team to ensure that the school is cleaned efficiently and effectively.
- Previous experience in a cleaning role.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures and COSHH regulations.
- Experience of cleaning in a SEND school environment would be an advantage.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Good clear communication skills (written & oral).
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- You live in easy commutable distance to the London Borough of Bromley
- You have an in date Enhanced DBS on the update service or able to pay for a new one ASAP
