Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.

The PWR team at Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with Ofsted-Good graded Academy based in Grimsby who are seeking a full-time, permanent Teacher of English to join them from September.

The PWR team at Teaching Personnel specialise in permanent vacancies across the UK, and are working closely with this Academy to source a quality, experienced teacher for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and interactive English lessons to students across various age groups and ability levels.
  • Developing and implementing creative lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational objectives.
  • Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting their academic growth.
  • Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and motivated to succeed.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and contribute to the overall development of the English department.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for English literature and language.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Experience in teaching English at the secondary level is desirable but not essential.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to engage in ongoing training and learning opportunities.
